Search without visitor profiles

The public search page uses no advertisements, advertising click tokens, advertising accounts, external analytics or personal search history. Searches here are not added to the advertising pilot’s daily keyword counts.

Keywords and aggregate counts

To answer popular searches faster, we keep usable keywords and their language in our own dictionary and prepare results in advance. We count successful first-result-page requests by keyword, language and day, without IP addresses, visitor IDs, referrers or personal search histories. Reloads count; subsequent pages and recognised bots do not. An automatic filter skips obvious contact details, long free text and some sensitive input; it does not guarantee that all text is anonymous. Daily totals are periodically removed in batches after 400 days. The dictionary remains until an administrator deletes words; disabling stops preparation and retains the term to prevent automatic re-enrolment. Existing secured backups may still contain data for recovery. There is no public sale or export of this data. Contact us for correction or deletion.

Simple visitor statistics

We count page views and estimate the number of unique visitors per day on our own server. We use no analytics cookies, external scripts or visitor profiles for this. The statistics store no raw IP addresses, search terms or visited URLs. For the daily count, the IP address is processed only temporarily in server memory using a key that changes each day; visitors are not recognised across days. Known bots, requests for files such as images, and administration pages are excluded. Shared or changing IP addresses can affect the estimate.

Language and age preference

Your browser language determines the automatic interface language; you can always choose an available language yourself. The functional language cookie keeps that choice for up to one year. The signed age cookie lasts for the browser session, up to eight hours. These preferences are applied at your request. You can change them on the website or remove them in your browser. We do not request your date of birth or identity document for these preferences.

Connection and supporting services

Your IP address is technically needed to establish the connection. Application logs contain no search terms or IP addresses. The page loads no external images, fonts or geolocation API. Hosting, system administration and backup storage support the operation and recovery of the service; necessary data access is limited to those tasks.

Public web pages in the index

The search index stores information from public web pages to make it searchable. This may include personal data. The operator relies on the legitimate interest in a useful, secure search engine for the search function and service security. The index is not a personal search history. Data and recovery copies are used to operate and recover the service.

Sources and requests

The crawler respects robots.txt and recognised noindex instructions. Where possible, update information on the source website first. Use the contact details below to request reindexing, correction or exclusion, including the exact URLs. Privacy requests are assessed to establish which processing and information concern you.

Your rights

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of personal data, and object to processing. Use the privacy and administration contact address below. An objection is assessed in light of your circumstances and the interests in the processing. You can also complain to the competent data protection authority.

Submitting a website

When you submit a website, we keep the supplied email address and URL to review the submission and, if needed, contact you about it, not for marketing. A submission does not prove that you own or represent the website. Active submission records are automatically removed after 90 days during the hourly cleanup. Existing backups may still contain data for recovery. Only the submission form uses a security cookie that expires after 30 minutes. To help prevent abuse, a temporary security code is derived from the IP address; the original IP address is not stored for that purpose. No external CAPTCHA service is loaded.
